Andy struggled with the same demons that millions of people worldwide battle with daily. Andy was an incredible presence on the world stage as the ‘people’s champion’. He was the pride of Hawaii and revered around the world for his blue collar rise to fame and success. However, many were unaware of his internal battles that led to his demise. As the opioid crisis rises to a national emergency in the United States, the untold story of Andy’s life serves to tear down the myths associated with these two ferocious diseases.

They have all found ways to adapt to the harshness of their respective environments while still carving out surfing and other adventurous lifestyles in their home countries.

The film shows the diversity and resilience of West Africa, and how a dream can bring light in an otherwise dark time.

Saat terjadinya wabah Ebola, generasi muda sebuah perkumpulan nelayan di Afrika Barat menjadikan surfing sebagai identitas hidup mereka. Untuk terlepas dari batasan masyarakat tradisional, mereka memulai perjalanan ke Liberia. Big Wata merupakan cerita positif tentang keberagaman dan ketahanan diri.

The word ‘sea’ in Kimbundo is ‘Kalunga’ but it also means ‘immensity’ and ‘death’. Three surfers travel the coast of Angola, from north to south, exploring a historic hinterland hidden by war. Theirs is a journey coinciding with a nation’s. A journey where surfing shows there is more beyond the waves, and reveals itself as an experience of social integration, cultural fusion and symbiosis with nature.

Kata ‘laut’ dalam Bahasa Kimbundo adalah ‘Kalunga’ yang juga berarti ‘kemegahan’ dan ‘kematian’. Tiga peselancar menelusuri pantai Angola untuk mengungkap pedalaman historis yang tersembunyi karena perang. Perjalanan mereka adalah perjalanan bangsa, dimana surfing memberi pengalaman integrasi sosial, budaya dan simbiosis dengan alam.

With coastlines around the world under pressure like never before from growing populations, rampant development and exploitation, Never Town is a rallying call for surfers and local communities to stand together to protect the wild spaces around them.

Film ini merekam pinggir selatan Australia, mulai dari tepian berdebu Australia Selatan menuju hutan lebat Victoria dan Tasmania. Menampilkan Dave Rastovich, Belinda Baggs & Heath Joske dalam percakapan dengan aktivis pantai yang menentang pengeboran minyak laut dalam dan industri peternakan ikan. Never Town merupakan panggilan unjuk rasa untuk peselancar dan komunitas lokal untuk bersama-sama melindungi alam liar sekitar.

This doc tracks the story of a Czech surfer who physically prepares himself for the ride of his life - big waves in Asturias, Spain. These 6 meter high waves are rare in Spain and the locals waits all year for their chance to ride them. Matěj Novák has to find a way through the community to the wave.

Dokumenter tentang peselancar Ceko yang mempersiapkan fisiknya untuk perjalanan terhebat dalam hidupnya – ombak besar di Asturias, Spanyol. Ombak setinggi 6 meter jarang ditemukan di Spanyol dan masyarakat biasanya menunggu setahun untuk ini. Matěj Novák harus mendekati masyarakat untuk menemukan ombak ini.

December 2014, Benjamin Sanchis was towed into one of the biggest wave ever ridden at Nazare. He fell at the bottom and in the subsequent beating almost drowned. The wave earned him the WSL XXL Wipe Out of the Year Award, but more importantly, kickstarted a new chapter in his quest to become a renowned big wave surfer.

Pada Desember 2014, Benjamin Sanchis diseret oleh salah satu gelombang terbesar yang pernah dinaiki di Nazare. Dia jatuh dan dihempaskan hingga hampir tenggelam. Gelombang ini membuatnya mendapat penghargaan “WSL XXL Wipe Out of the Year”, namun yang lebih penting lagi, memulai babak baru di hidupnya untuk menjadi peselancar gelombang besar ternama.

Sampah, air limbah, produk industri dan bahan kimia – semua terbuang ke laut. Ini terjadi tanpa sepengetahuan siapapun. Namun ada beberapa orang yang mengamati dan merasakan polusi dengan tubuh mereka dari hari ke hari. Air adalah hidup mereka, dan mereka ingin melindunginya.
